The Blacksburg Community Strings, under the baton of Ake-Eric Renqvist, will hold its spring concert on Sunday, April 26, 4pm at the Blacksburg United Methodist Church, 111 Church Street, SE.

The concert features soloists Travis Whaley performing Bach's Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor and Daniel B Folta on violin performing Beriot's Scene de Ballet. The program also includes Elegie by Tchaikovsky, Chanson de Nuit and Chanson de Matin by Elgar, and Suite for String Orchestra by Rameau.
