Blacksburg Farmer's Market

June 19, 2013 time: 2-7pm location: Blacksburg Market Square
The Blacksburg Farmer's Market happens every week in Blacksburg Market Square (Saturdays only January - March, Wednesdays and Saturdays April - December). Come see live music, sample fresh harvested produce, or spin a hula hoop in the sunshine. Blacksburg Market Square Jam: Wednesdays, 8-11pm

Blacksburg’s Market Square Jam takes place in the warmer months on Wednesday evenings from 8-11 pm in the Farmers' Market park downtown on the corner of Draper Road and Roanoke Street. Mostly folks playing old time and bluegrass turn up, but it can be any type of folk music as long as it's unplugged. Presented by The Town of Blacksburg; see their Market Square Jam page for scheduled performers and more details.

Summer Arts Theatre: Stuart Little

White's Stuart Little jumps off the page and onto our stage in this Joseph Robinette adaptation of the classic children's story of a spunky mouse finding out what it's like to be a "Little" guy living in a big people's world. Blacksburg's 6th Annual Summer Solstice Fest and Carnival

Friday Night Out Concert: Cyrus Pace Quartet

The Cyrus Pace Quartet kicks off the Friday Night Out Concert series with jazz on Friday, Jun 21 at Henderson Lawn, weather permitting-- the rain site is the Old Dominion Ballroom in Squires Student Center. All "Friday Night Out" concerts are jointly sponsored by the Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts & Cinema and the Town of Blacksburg, as part of the 2013 Summer Arts Festival.

Classic Movie: The Graduate

June 22, 2013 time: 3pm location: The Lyric Theatre
The Graduate, the award-winning 1967 comedy-drama starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft, will be presented at The Lyric Theatre on the afternoons of June 22nd and 26th. This free event is part of the 2013 Summer Arts Festival.
