Configuring Eudora for POP over SSL
Start Eudora email application.
Click on the 'Tools' menu item.
Click on the 'Options' menu item.
This starts the 'Options' window.
Under Category, click on the 'Checking Mail' icon.
You should see an options window similar to below.
Under 'Secure Sockets when Receiving' change the dropdown from
'If Available, STARTTLS' to 'Required, Alternate Port."
Then, click the 'OK' button at the bottom.
In Eudora, click on 'Check Mail' icon on the tool bar.
This brings up a window 'Server SSL certificate Rejected',
similar to below:
For now, click the 'No' button.
