Eudora Pro Versions 4.x
- Launch the Eudora Pro application.
- From the menu bar of the Mac desktop, click on "Special", then
select "Settings" sub-menu item. This brings up the "Settings"
window.
- Click on the "Personalities" icon on the "Settings"
window.
- In the field labeled "Username", enter your BEV PID. This is usually
the first part of your email address. For example, if your BEV email address
is johndoe@bev.net then your BEV PID probably is johndoe.
- In the field labled "Mail Host", enter pop.bev.net.
- In the field labeled "Return Address" you must enter your BEV
email address. For example, johndoe@bev.net. If this is not set, then
replies to your messages may not be addressed correctly.
- Click on the "Sending Mail" icon on the "Settings" window.
- Enter your SMTP server hostname
into the field labeled "SMTP".
- Click the "OK" button near the lower right corner of the "Settings"
window to save your changes.
The next time you check your email Eudora should use your new settings.
